Tempest Williams is a Houston-based multidisciplinary artist and visual storyteller from the historic Greater Fifth Ward. Through collage, assemblage, sculpture, and mixed media, her work explores memory, identity, cultural inheritance, and Black resilience. Rooted in ancestral storytelling traditions, Williams creates layered works that bridge contemporary expression with collective memory and community preservation.
